“Not in keeping with the local area, this should be rejected at council level.”

“Ridiculous plans for 2 totally out of place towers. The one that is there is bad enough! Reject the planning application!”

“This is clearly the wrong building for the wrong site. No long standing local residents are in favour of this. It will be an atrocity to the area.”

“The new buildings are overdevelopment and out of keeping with local character. The local infrastructure is already overwhelmed: GPs, roads, parks, refuse collection. Housing target have long been exceeded but there seesm to still be relentless pressure to overdevelop this area and increase the population density without consideration for the impact on local communities.”

“Support the 9 points and worry about the additional pressure on local schools.”

“Horrible- Far too high. Very oppressive for people leaving nearby and not quality housing for people living in it- and nothing has been planned to accommodate such an increase in population ( school, doctors, transport, leisure facilities, etc....) - Colliers Wood should not be the next Croydon”

“In addition to the excellent points raised in the video, what about the additional pressure this would place on transport links?!”

“Horrible. Plus who wants to live in all these tiny over-priced boxes, now that most of us are 'working from home'?”

“Total eyesore. This is a residential area not a city centre/ business centre. Colliers Wood is not Croydon. No building taller than the existing tower should be given planning permission. The impact on local infrastructure and sunlight need to be considered”

“We do not want another eyesaw. Why does it have to be so big”

“Will through our whole road into shade from about 11am onwards. Oppressive in looks and utterly invasive. Also not enough doctors and car parking and school places locally as it stands. How are they planning to responsibly handle that?”

“The underground won’t take the weight. There is too much traffic, with emergency vehicles can’t through to the hospital.”

“These proposed towers are out of keeping with the area, would block natural light to many residential houses and would stretch the local infrastructure to breaking point”

“Very sad that it’s even got this far in planning. Merton council is not thinking of its residents well being. Colliers Wood couldn’t cope with a block higher than Britannia Point. This is wrong on so many levels. Shame on you Merton Council.”
