We are protesting at Downing Street - Time to #StopTheRot

Many thanks for signing our petition to demand a new ministerial code to hold this rogue Prime Minister to account.

The election results are in and Boris Johnson has paid a heavy price at the polls for his rotten politics. The claim that “Boris wasn’t on the ballot” doesn't hold true, as voters responded to the pressure they are feeling from the cost of living crisis and the resentment they have for government leaders in Westminster who only care about protecting themselves. Voters know that claims that Boris Johnson has a public mandate aren't true. The Conservatives won an 80-seat majority in 2019, based on less than 44% of the vote.

The tide is with us. We’re tired of authoritarian bills, law breaking, repeated scandals, constant lying, jobs and contracts for chums and general bad governance. We know that we deserve better. We also know that tweeting angrily and signing petitions alone won’t fix the fundamental flaws of our rotten politics.

It’s time to take to the streets and seize the moment to demand that this rogue Prime Minister goes!

Join us at - We are taking to the streets on Sunday 15th May at Downing Street.

Please sign our petition calling for the ministerial code to be rewritten so that a prime minister alleged to have broken the code can be investigated and sanctioned by an independent body.

Peter Hennessy, one of the country’s most respected constitutional experts, recently said of Boris Johnson, “The Queen’s first minister is now beyond doubt a rogue Prime Minister unworthy of her, her Parliament, her people and her kingdom.”

He went on to say that by breaking the law and misleading parliament, Johnson has effectively shredded the ministerial code, the rules that he himself is supposed to use to hold government ministers to account for their actions.

It is an outrage that our system gives so much power to a single person yet has no effective way of holding them to account for the way they use it.

It’s time to #StopTheRot so that we can begin to get our country back on track.

Please sign our petition today and demand that the ministerial code to be rewritten.
