GB News is notorious for its inflammatory coverage targeting migrants, Muslims and other minority groups. By contrast, Sky says it wants to see a “global effort to tackle racism and racial injustice”, and prides itself on its commitment to diversity.¹
Yet for the past three years, Sky has been propping up this toxic TV channel, both by advertising on the station directly, and selling ads for GB News via its media sales arm,² helping raise millions more in revenue.
Hateful media narratives can have dangerous real-world consequences. Now more than ever, it’s time for companies like Sky to put their money where their mouth is, and #StopFundingHate.
Sign the petition to cut off a key funding source to GB News, by calling on Sky Media to end their collaboration.
